AAA-1 Signs can reproduce almost any logo, typeface, or illustration. However, the client can save time and money by providing art in the following PC formats:

Vector Art (preferred)

  • CorelDraw (.cdr)
  • Adobe Illustrator (.ai)
  • Encapsulated Post Script (.eps)
  • Windows Metafile (.wmf)
  • AutoCad (.dwf, .dwg)
  • Compuserve Bitmap (.gif)

Bitmap Art

  • JPEG (.jpg or .jpeg)
  • Tagged Image File Format (.tif or .tiff)
  • Windows Bitmap (.bmp)
  • Kodak Photo CD Image (.pcd)
  • Photoshop (.psd)
Faxes

For clarity and accuracy, it is not recommended that a client fax their artwork. While AAA-1 Signs can scan existing art, it can be very difficult to match the original art.

Scans

AAA-1 Signs can scan original artwork. It is important that the original art be of high quality (normally a photocopy is not acceptible). A laser reproduction is preferred.

From Scratch

The AAA-1 Signs graphic artists are capable of producing art as simple as a logo, or something as complex as a topographical layout rendering. Whatever the requirement, AAA-1 Signs can exceed your expectations.

Fonts

There are tens of thousands of fonts in use today. Normally, standard fonts such as Arial (Helvetica for Mac) and Times New Roman (Roman Times for Mac) are used, however, there are instances where a company prefers to use a non-standard font for reasons of differentiation and to make it difficult for others to replicate their trademark or identity. Therefore, it is recommended that clients provide the name of the font(s) used in their art before submitting their art.

If you have a question about format compatibility, or how to best provide your art, don't hesitate to email or call us!
